I've Been a Bad Blogger...

Ugh, I've been the worst blogger ever these last few months. We've had a rough couple of months with kids being sick, so any downtime has been spent sleeping, cleaning, laundry, etc. Adam is also gone a lot for work, so I'm still adjusting to parenting alone. He hates being gone overnight, but it's getting a little easier for everyone.

Aubrey had another kidney infection right before her scheduled appointment with the pediatric nephrologist, so we had to reschedule for April. On a positive note, she is potty trained!!!! Woo hoo!!! She's been doing really good and rarely has an accident. This is a major milestone for our house. Maybe the $100 in diapers and wipes a month will start to go down :)

Owen has been struggling with his last two molars to pop through, and the poor kid is just miserable. I don't remember Aubrey having this hard of a time with her molars, but Owen is a whole different story. He's had a low grade temp, ear drainage, uncontrollable crying, lack of eating and sleeping all the time. I hope they pop through soon, because this mama is tired. He does pretty good with the potty, but still has enough accidents that we haven't put him in undies everyday.

Aiden has been his usual goofy self. We seem to be past some of the ear problems, except some drainage, but that's normal for him. He now says 4 word sentences and talks all day long. He loves daycare now and is the best of the three at drop-off. He just goes into his room and starts playing. Aiden has also become the biggest daddy's boy and wants Adam to be around him all the time. I'm a sad mama :(

We've managed to still get out of the house, even with all the rounds of sickness and cold weather. The Povah kids have been to the zoo, science center, Papa's house for a couple of sleepovers, birthday parties and the movies.

Aubrey and Owen loved seeing Beauty and the Beast in the theater with Charlotte. They each got their own kiddie combo and did pretty good sitting through the movie. We probably won't try it again for awhile since it's so darn expensive and we want to be able to take Aiden next time.

We also got some good playtime in the snow a few weeks ago. Aiden doesn't love the snow, so he only stayed out for a few minutes, but the twins think it's great.

It's time for some Spring, so hurry up and get here!
